Mama Soul advocates for every woman’s right to quality, inclusive healthcare. Our mission is to change the narrative on women’s health access and ensure their voices lead the conversation. We’re committed to innovation and action, breaking down barriers to healthcare access and quality for care women everywhere.
Plan C is a national nonprofit campaign for direct access to abortion pills and self-directed options in the US. Established in 2015, Plan C’s Guide to Pills shares information on how medication abortion, or “abortion pills,” are used and where people are accessing them from all states, as well as comprehensive resources for care and support. Plan C partners with activists, artists, grassroots organizations, and researchers to spread the word that pills by mail are a reality in all states, and works to catalyze new routes to access this safe and modern method in the face of ongoing stigma, censorship, and unjust bans. Their visionis for a future in which abortion pills- considered safe enough to be dispensed over the counter – can be put into the hands of those who need them.
But, to do so, access to these pills must first be disentangled from the complex legal and political issues in which they are currently ensnared.
